Story
Hi there!
Our group is participating in the 12 Days for CUP Challenge because we are aware of the great work CUP does in providing hope for vulnerable children and women in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It would be great if you could get behind us doing these challenges by contributing to this great project.
The 12 Days for CUP Challenge runs from the 16-27th November and we are planning on completing the following challenges as a biblestudy group. All the challenges will either be completed by an individual or by all of us together. Please sponsor us and follow our progress on Facebook. Challenges (each represents an aspect of the lives of the women and children CUP seeks to support):
- 1. Eat a lemon
- 2. Write a poem about your Mother (Mothers are important in Bengali culture)
- 3. Learn to write your name in Bangla
- 4. Wear a Sari or Lungi for the day
- 5. Bengali Design (get a Henna design)
- 6. Recite a Bangla Poem
- 7. Wear a Bangladesh made garment inside out (raising awareness for the industry)
- 8. Chilli Eating (eat as many chillis as possible in a minute)
- 9. Learn a Hindi Dance
- 10. Hand stitch a table runner
- 11. Live off a COVID-19 Relief Pack
- 12. Sleep Outdoors (no cover, only a foam mattress)
Target: $3000
Any donation over $2 you make through this platform is tax deductible and will contributed directly to the CUP program.

Outworking God’s heart to care for the vulnerable, SIMaid helps demonstrate God’s love and compassion to the least reached by empowering beneficiaries to live with dignity and hope. SIMaid projects provide holistic and benevolent relief to those suffering from poverty, sickness, disability or distress. SIMaid facilitates tax-deductible donations to qualifying aid and development projects supporting our mission workers and ministry partners.
*Gifts of $2 or more to SIMaid projects are tax-deductible and will receive a receipt. Should a project raise funds in excess of its target, we will apply it to similar projects where most needed.
