Swim For Crohn's

Story

I'm swimming the Rottnest Channel Swim solo in February to raise money for Crohn's Disease. I'd appreciate any contribution, big or small!

I've been battling with extensive Crohn's disease since late 2022, and I've decided to challenge myself by swimming the Rotto Swim as a soloist.

As there is still little known about Crohn's disease, and no cure for it yet, my goal is to help raise funds contributing to research and awareness for Crohn's.

Another goal of mine is to also help raise awareness for young people living with chronic health conditions which is becoming a more and more common issue in society today. I hope to inspire people who do suffer from them, to not let it define them, but to show it’s how you overcome these adversities that defines you.

Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to Crohn's and Colitis Australia.

A massive thanks to Hooked Swim for sponsoring my training for the fundraiser! Hooked Swim can be found here: www.hookedswim.com.au

Thanks so much to everyone for your support!

Crohn's & Colitis Australia

For more than three decades, Crohn’s & Colitis Australia (CCA) has been empowering the more than 100,000 Australian men, women and children living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis – collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) – to live fearlessly.

While we invest in research for a cure, CCA continues to advocate for world best treatments and health services for those living with IBD. Through our programs we offer education and support for Australia’s growing Crohn’s and colitis community and raise awareness of the disease. Importantly, our services are offered free of charge.
