FREE MONEY!!! ... from your wallets to give to a good cause

Story

From 3 - 8 June I am going to spend 5 days living 'below the line'; that is, spending only $2 per day on food for 5 days. THAT'S $10 FOR 5 DAYS! I am doing this to raise money for Maranatha Health - an organisation that works to improve the health, empower the poor, and make lasting change to a rural village called Kamwenge in Uganda. Maranatha Health has built and operates a small health clinic in the village specialising in areas of need, particularly maternal and child health. To learn more, go to maranathahealth.org

Maranatha Health (Maranatha Hospitals Aid and Development Fund Australia Incorporated)

Maranatha Health is a not-for-profit organisation based in Australia and Uganda that aims to improve health outcomes, empower the poor, and make positive lasting change to village life in rural Uganda. Maranatha Health has a project centre in Kamwenge district, western Uganda.

 

We provide essential health care for mothers and children; strengthen and improve the effectiveness of the current health system; support community based development and deliver HIV/AIDs treatment and care. Our aim is to empower locals so that they can participate in the development of their own communities.
