BDM 50 Challenge - Mark and Scott
BDM 50 Challenge - Mark and Scott
Story
Hi there!
I'm making a difference and getting tanked for a cause that's close to my heart. I’d appreciate any contribution, big or large.
We are doing a challenge called the BDM 50. What's the BDM 50, you ask? It's a challenge in which we need to reach 50. 50 what, you ask? You have a lot of questions, but essentially we need to get to 50 beers, donuts, or miles (walked/ran) without 24 hours. It can be any combination of those three to reach that number (e.g. 30 donuts, 15 miles or 5 beers; or even 48 beers, 1 donut and 1 mile).
Initially we were planning on doing this to see if it were even physically possible, but we decided to actually make it worthwhile and contribute to a charity that we are very close to - Motor Neurone Disease Research Australia. Long story short when we were young our mum died of Motor Neurone Disease, and the work of this charity is making incredible strides at helping find a cure for this currently incurable disease.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to Motor Neurone Disease Research Australia.
Thanks so much for your support!
Motor Neurone Disease Research Australia
MND Research Australia funds projects led by Australia’s leading MND researchers. By supporting MNDRA you are sparking new discoveries and ideas to defeat MND by funding new research projects that aim to understand the causes, develop effective treatments, and one day find a cure.
It is only with research that the future of MND will change. Together we will defeat MND.
