Story
We're walking the talk!
In March 2018 we’ll be walking 75kms along the Great Ocean Walk, over 4 days, to raise much needed funds and create awareness of the eviDent Foundation.
We need to raise over $2500 to help improve the oral health of Australians.
Did you know oral cancer is the 8th and 13th most common cancer for males and females respectively?
It is difficult to detect, remaining undiagnosed until well advanced. Prognosis is often poor, with devastating effects to those who are unfortunate to acquire it, from facial disfigurement to death. The eviDent Foundation is currently testing the ability of an Oral Cancer Risk Test to improve early detection rates and identify patients at risk of developing this deadly disease. This is one of the many of eviDent’s projects. More can be found at www.evident.org.au
But there is still a lot more work to be done. We're hoping you can help us by supporting us in this incredible challenge by donating to help us reach our fundraising target. We'd appreciate any contribution, big or small.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to our charity of choice.
Thanks so much for your support!
eviDent Foundation
At The eviDent Foundation, we believe better oral health starts with better evidence. As a health promotion charity, we support dentists and researchers to work together on studies that directly improve patient care. When you donate to eviDent, you help make this research possible - research that reduces oral disease, improves dental treatment, and benefits the oral health of families and communities across Australia.
