Lynne King Cancer Care Foundation 100km Charity Ride
Story
Hi all,
I’m taking part in the Balance & UTS Triathlon Club’s Annual Charity Ride on 11 December 2011. I’ll be cycling 100km from Galston north and west and back via Windsor with my fellow tri club mates. I’ve been told by an experienced cyclist/triathlete/ironman that the course is undulating and challenging (i.e. plenty of hills and I’ll definitely be pushed to my limit as hills are not my friend).
Please sponsor me to push me along on the day when it’s getting tough out there on the road in the heat. I’m raising funds for the Lynne King Cancer Care Foundation. The Foundation does wonderful work in our local community for those suffering from terminal cancer and who have no financial or emotional support of their own.
Thanks for your support and wish us luck that we don’t cycle in 40 degrees heat!

Lynne King Cancer Care Foundation
The Lynne King Cancer Care Foundation helps those with cancer who, through personal circumstances, need financial, emotional or medical support. There are many people in our society who lack a functional family support network and battle with cancer on their own.
The Lynne King Cancer Care Foundation was established in memory of the late Lynne King, who as a nurse spent much of her life caring for those with cancer. To read more of her story go to www.lyncares.org
