Story
Hi there,
I want to share a personal story that has shaped my life and motivated me to make a difference. When I was just 15 years old, I received a diagnosis that changed everything: Crohn's disease. Those next few years were some of the toughest I've faced. I struggled with friendships, work, health scares and even the simplest everyday activities that my peers took for granted. It was a challenging time, but it taught me resilience and the importance of speaking up about my condition.
This May, I'm determined to make a positive impact by running for a cause close to my heart. From May 19th to June 18th, I will be running 5 kilometers every day, rain or shine. With every kilometer I complete, I'll be donating $1 to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Australia (CCA).
I'm sharing my journey with you because I believe that together we can make a difference. I know that every contribution counts, no matter the size. Your support means the world to me.
Donations made through this platform are completely secure, and all funds will go directly to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation Australia, the organisation that is tirelessly working towards improving the lives of those affected by the disease.

While we invest in research for a cure, CCA continues to advocate for world best treatments and health services for those living with IBD. Through our programs we offer education and support for Australia’s growing Crohn’s and colitis community and raise awareness of the disease. Importantly, our services are offered free of charge.
