John Pratt 2026 Walk Against Want
John Pratt 2026 Walk Against Want
Story
I have registered with Oxfam Australia to walk 10km in Adelaide suburbs between Clarence Park and Mitcham. The route largely parallels the train line so others can join me and walk (much) less than 10 km if they wish. A coffee stop is included. The best walking will be the 2+ km from Mitcham Station to Unley Pk Station, partly alongside Brown-hill Creek. For Walk details, please contact me.
With Elizabeth I plan to make the Walk on April 8 or a following suitable day. Oxfam Aust will use funds raised towards countering the causes and effects of poverty around the world.
Of each $1.00 raised;
67c is used for tackling poverty.
20c is used for raising the next $1.
13c is used on essential administration.
For more detail visit website; www.oxfam.org.au
Amounts of $2.00 or more are tax-deductible.
Oxfam Australia
At Oxfam we believe all lives are equal and no-one should live in poverty.
We join forces with people who share this belief to empower communities to build better lives for themselves. That’s why we are there on the ground, not only to save lives in times of crisis, but also to develop lasting solutions. Our work spans wide because there are many causes of poverty. That’s why we’re also in front of decision-makers, governments and corporations, and speak out on the big issues. Together we are tackling poverty by changing minds, systems and lives.
