Robert Rides the Peaks

Story

This coming Labour Day long weekend I will be attempting the 3 Peaks Challenge and I would like to be sponsored so I can do more than just improve my fitness.

I am raising money for a charity project which would be run by CERES Community Environment Park with the Brunswick YMCA and Merri Community Health.

The money would be used to help residents of two local Rooming Houses improve their lives in a small way by harvesting and cooking their own meals.

I know the importance of good quality healthy food - I will need a lot of it to complete 235km ride with its 3 mountains. On Sunday 10 March will have 10 hours do it. I will have to climb over 4000m over Tawonga Gap, Mount Hotham and Falls Creek.

I have two aims for the ride; to finish and to finish in less than 10 hours.

Donations are fully tax deductable and can be made by clicking the Donate button on the right.

If you would like to follow my progress on the day, just follow me on roblaroc@ Twitter or email me on robert_larocca@yahoo.com.au and I will send you a link for the ride of the day.
