Story
Together as mates we will tackle the gruelling challenge of Ironman and raise money for a worthwhile cause. On the 7th of May, Stef and myself are competing in the Australian Ironman triathlon at Port Macquarie NSW. We will complete a 3.8km open water swim, 180.2km bike ride and finish with a 42.2km run to hear those magic words 'You are an IRONMAN'! This for me in the past has been a personal challenge however, this year not only will I get to compete with my best mate in his very first Ironman but we have decided to race for a cause. I hope you can support us by supporting White Ribbon Australia. Domestic violence has touched someone close to me and first hand I have seen the impact this has had on her life. Supporting this cause is without question worthwhile and together we can Cycle out Domestic Violence.....

White Ribbon Australia is a unique male-led primary prevention organisation that works to stop violence against women. All forms of violence are unacceptable. White Ribbon is working to prevent the most common and pervasive form of male violence – that towards women. White Ribbon believes the prevention of violence against women will change society for the better.
White Ribbon believes in the capacity of the individual to change and to encourage change in others. It believes that our generation can and must work towards stopping violence against women so that all women can live in safety, free from violence and abuse.
Through an annual awareness campaign and primary prevention initiatives, White Ribbon works to change the attitudes and behaviours that lead to violence against women.
