In August 2017, I will begin an enormous journey across Australia by Elliptigo.  I believe nobody has attemtped to do this before and I have applied for a Guiness World Record for completing it.  An 'Elliptigo' is an elliptical cycle, I guess the best way to think about it is to say it's like a bike but you stand up and use a running motion to make the wheels turn.  I will be starting at the furthest road accessible to the west of Australia, and travel along the coast as much as possible, to the furthest point east.  I predict that this venture will cover over 8000km, and based on an average of 100km per day it should take me about two and a half months.

I hope to raise lots of money for One Girl.  This amazing charity uses donations to provide education to young girls in Uganda and Sierra Leone that would otherwise not have the oppurtunity.  Educating a girl in Africa not only enhances her life but it improves the quality of life of those around her.  She is less likely to be married young and become a parent while still a child herself.  She is more likely to educate her own children when she is grown up.  And she will earn more to provide a better life for her family.  Please consider making a small donation to make a huge difference to someones life.
