Story
Hi there!
After a 13 year break from competing in age group triathlons I have entered this years Noosa Triathlon and would love to mark this occasion by raising funds for SCARS.
I have been volunteering at The Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge for more than 2 years and its extremely satisfying seeing so many dogs and cats get a second chance in finding a lovely home.
The race itself is Sunday 2nd November and so the event is very much coming into focus, in terms of training, preparation and the opportunity to raise some always needed funds for such a great cause.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.

SIPPY CREEK ANIMAL REFUGE SOCIETY INC
The Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge (SCARS) was established in 1979 to provide temporary refuge and find new homes for abandoned, abused, stray and unwanted cats and dogs.
All cats and dogs admitted to the Refuge are Vet checked, vaccinated, wormed, desexed, microchipped and medically treated if necessary, prior to being available for adoption to the public.
We have comprehensive terms and conditions of sale to ensure the animals are adopted into an appropriately loving home.
The Refuge is an independent, non-profit, charitable organisation with a regulated non-euthanasia policy. We also run education programmes for the community on responsible animal ownership.
