Corporate Fighter 2012
Corporate Fighter 2012
Story
On Friday 17th August 18 guys will be stepping into the ring for the very first time to take part in 3 rounds of full amateur boxing. They'll be out of their office comfort zone and will be slogging it out against a fellow first timer.
The big night takes place at the Roundhouse, UNSW in Kensington. You can find out more about the night and book your ticket to attend by clicking here.
The fighters are raising money for a couple of great causes - Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) and the Children's Cancer Institute of Australia. To make all their training and hard work worth while you can make a donation on this page and sponsor the whole team or pick your fighter (below) and make on a donation on their fundraising page.
Any contribution - big or small - will be very gratefully received and will help keep them motivated for the big night!
Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect)
Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) is Australia’s largest national service provider for people on the autism spectrum.
Autism is different for everyone. Providing the right support requires understanding individual strengths, interests and aspirations. There is no one-size-fits-all solution. At Aspect, we work in partnership with people of all ages on the autism spectrum, providing a tailored support journey that continually adapts to the needs of each person. Our approach means each person is understood and valued for their unique abilities, supported through their challenges and given opportunities to achieve their goals and fulfil their potential.
How your support helps
We need people like you to help us pave the way to a better future.
Autism is a lifelong condition. An estimated 1 in every 70 people in Australia is on the autism spectrum. Along with their family members, this means autism is a part of daily life for over a million Australians. It is likely you know someone – a family member, friend or colleague.
By fundraising for us, you will help provide the best opportunities for people of all ages on the autism spectrum from tailored educational support to fulfilling work lives and improved social environments.
