Story
I am a part of a group of passionate people from around Canberra - Beyond Kokoda, led by Mel Cringle from Independent who will be trekking the Kokoda Trail.
Due to the current uncertainty within the community as a result of COVID-19 on what lies ahead, not just in the coming days but months, this is what is best.
With the border closing along with large stakeholders and sponsors having expressed concerns with their financial viability to support us at this time of crisis, this is what is best for all involved.
At this stage, we are planning to move the trek to June 8th to 19th 2021. This date is subject to change and I will keep you all updated.
Lifeline Canberra exists to support people in crisis and save the lives of those experiencing thoughts of suicide.
For over 49 years, our highly skilled volunteers have provided 24/7 support via our local 13 11 14 crisis support service.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to Lifeline Canberra, including the funds already contributed.
Thanks so much for your support.
