Sharks to Sheep for the Sydney Childrens Hospital
Story
Hi there!
I'm trying to make a difference and completing a Ultra-Triathlon for the Sydney Childrens Hospital foundation.
The Sydney Childrens hospital see over 60,000 ill or injured children per year and are drastically underfunded. Of the 60,000 children, over 70% of patients come from rural or remote area's of Australia. I will be raising funds for these families who at times have to give up their jobs, move to the city or be removed from their families to care for their sick children. My Triathlon will consist of the the following distances
Swim - Bondi Beach to Watson Bay: 10km (Shark territory)
Ride - Watson Bay to Canberra, ACT: 300km (Taking on the trucks down the Hume Highway)
Run - Canberra to Yass: 50km (Finishing in my home town)
I plan to complete this Triathlon without stopping across the weekend of the 25th and 26th of March 2017
My aim is to raise $50,000 to support the Childrens Hospital and more specifically those families from rural or remote area's with whatever they need during their difficult time
I’d appreciate any contribution, big or small.
