Dear all,
Well no-one's ever seen what I mean
From the age of n-n-n-n-n nineteen.
That's how old I was when I stopped cutting my hair. Now some 20+ years later, I am stilll sporting a ponytail most days, and curly locks for special occasions.
Now, the time has come. In an effort to raise money for The Village Festival where I am General Manager, I am threatening to cut it all off. The festival starts on Thursday 29 October, so get in quick. Donate here, or come to the festival Thursday to Sunday in Edinburgh Gardens, Fitzroy North and donate directly, and (if the target gets reached) see it all being cut off!
It's part of "Dumb Stunts for Cash" that we are running at the festival this year!
And if you want to save the hair, you can do that too by donating at the festival.

The Village is a beautiful, beguiling, site-specific festival, which creates an intimate environment for professional and non-professional artists and audiences to meet in bliss.
The Village takes the form of a series of highly decorated temporary theatre spaces – tents, caravans, inflatables - usually set in a park. The look is handmade, human scaled, colourful and low tech.
The Village runs annual flagship events in Melbourne, Castlemaine, Tasmania and Lorne and co-creates one-off festivals with communities around Australia.
