Story
Hi family and friends,
It's Amelia here and I am 8 years old. My school is doing a Walkathon to raise money to do some awesome things around our school. This could include improving our permiculature (that's where our chickens live) or buying some new learning and play equipment for all of us kids. Our P&C spends the money very wisely and has just finished air-conditioning all of our classrooms - great for Summer!
The Walkathon started on Friday, 7 October and runs through to Monday, 21 November 2016. I am aiming to walk 6km each week - that's a total of 36km! Yesterday I went for a big walk through Toohey Forest with some other families from school. It was heaps of fun!

Not only are you helping the P&C raise funds for giant fans for the PAC but you are also helping plant native trees (or shrubs) in Australia’s only global biodiversity hotspot which is located in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor.
