The North Face 100km, I must be crazy!
The North Face 100km, I must be crazy!
Story
Hi All,
As many of you know, I am participating in The North Face 100km foot race in the Blue Mountains on 18th May (http://www.thenorthface100.com.au/). I say ‘participating’ rather than ‘competing’ as this is a personal challenge – I’m not aiming for a podium finish, however I do hope to finish around the 16-17 hour mark. I've chosen to fundraise to support the Leukaemia Foundation, a cause that is close to my heart and an organisation that is doing some very important work.
I have set myself a goal to raise $2000 and I need your help. The kicker is that Woolworths will match all donations dollar for dollar up to a total of $1000.
Please consider making a donation to allow me to make an even bigger impact on the day.
Simply click the link below to view my fundraising page and make a donation:
http://personalchallenge.gofundraise.com.au/page/ngallery
You will receive a receipt immediately and you can even leave a personal message on my page - please be nice! : )
I'll do the hard work on the day - your part is easy.
Thanks for your support!
Nick
Leukaemia Foundation of Australia
The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the care and cure of patients and families living with blood cancers (leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma) and related blood disorders.
The Leukaemia Foundation supports patients and their families by providing services at no cost to the patient. Our services include providing disease specific information, emotional support and advocacy, financial assistance, educational programs to help people live with their disease, safe transport to and from treatments and access to fully furnished 'home away from home' accommodation for regional families.
Millions of dollars are also invested annually to Australia’s leading researchers to develop better treatments and eventually a cure.
The Leukaemia Foundation receives no government funding and relies on money raised from the community to continue to support patients and their families affected by leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or related blood disorder.
