Story
St Andrews Legacy Golf Tour 2014
This year 4 Soldier On team members will compete against other military and veteran teams at the home of Golf - St Andrews.
Golf Tour. St Andrews Legacy is a newly formed organisation that creates opportunities for veterans to play at the most prestigious Golf Courses in the world. Started by Mr Graham Proctor in 2013, St Andrews Legacy held the first event for veterans from Soldier On Canada. This year the US, British and Canadians will also have teams, we will play aside the Canadian team.
Soldier On will send a contingent of four (4) golfers and one chaperone to attend this year’s event. The Team will arrive in London prior to the golfing to visit the Imperial War Museum (IWM) and acclimatise in order to make best use of this unique opportunity.
Aim. To engage with and inspire the golfing community in Australia and create further opportunities in Australia.
Participation. The four participants have been selected against a unique criteria for this activity, they also each posses a recognised golf handicap of less than 24.
Dates. The St Andrews aspect of the tour will be 13 – 24 July with tee-times on the Old Course of 18 July.
In the coming weeks we will present the team to you here so you can learn a little bit about them and their journey.
In the meantime, please support them by making a donation. WIth your help, we can establish Soldier On Golf activities around Australia to ensure that our current generations of veterans is the provided the very best resintegration and rehabilitation support.

At Soldier On, our mission is to work side by side with those who serve and protect Australia, and their families, HELPing them to secure their future.

In order to achieve this mission, Soldier On has a team of amazing staff who dedicate their time to delivering services directly to service personnel and their families. We have centres in the ACT, Concord NSW, Parkville VIC and offices in Perth WA, Adelaide SA, Currumbin QLD, Newcastle NSW and Albury NSW. Our volunteer network and the generosity of the community, allows for activities and events to be held across the nation and support many service personnel and families outside of city areas.
Soldier On is not funded by government. It is thanks to corporate sponsors, trusts, philanthropic support and the generosity of the community, that enables us to provide services to those who need them.
