Story
Hi there!
I know what it's like to have a Leukodystrophy and that it's tough on people and families affected by a Leukodystrophy. I've been helped by Leukodystrophy Australia (ALDS) and I want to do something in return.
On the 20th March I'll be doing the 5km challenge in Run for the Kids which raises money for the Royal Childrens Hospital Good Friday Appeal. My official fundraing page for the event is http://runforthekids2016.gofundraise.com.au/page/PeterDempsey34. That's where you should donate to support the Good Friday Appeal.
But to raise some separate funds for Leukodystrophy Australia, this fundraising page invites donations for my 'Personal Challenge' - that's putting up with my father for the 5 kilometres. Because I won't be running. I won't be walking. I'll be doing the 5km in my manual wheelchair, with him pushing.
Leukodystrophy Australia would appreciate any contribution, big or small.

We assist individuals and families whose precious and loved one/s have a life limiting genetic Neurological illness imposing great emotional, financial and physical stress on everyone.
