Story
As you may know Nerida was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma.
Unfortunately a side effect of her treatment is that Nerida will lose her beautiful locks.
To show a bit of moral support I am also going to get a little trim and shave off my golden (ok slightly red) locks.
Looking to make the best of the situation Nerida has challenged me to raise some funds for the ward that has helped us considerably over the past month.
We are looking to raise enough money for the ward to purchase a new Ice machine.
Ice machine?? No it's not for Rum and Cokes.
When oncology patients undergo treatment, chemotherapy drugs can over heat the body and breakdown the lining of the mouth.
Patients munch on ice chips to prevent this. 7E's was broken and due for an upgrade.
Definitely a worthy cause.
