2 men and a tent. Now that's an idea! How about we drive 25000 kms around Oz in a 4WD vehicle and try to raise some money for Cure Cancer Australia Foundation and Hunter Medical Research Institute in the process!
Cure Cancer Australia Foundation exclusively funds innovative post-doctoral young researchers with one or two-year grants of up to $180000 to try to find a cure for all types of cancers. More information at www.curecancer.org.au
The Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI) is a unique partnership between Hunter New England Health, the University of Newcastle and the community. It currently has some 750 researchers working to improve health and well-being throughout the community. There is a wide range of research projects which cover many common health issues. All money collected will go directly to the charities to assist in their endeavours and mission of a world without cancer. Nothing less.

Cure Cancer Australia Foundation
One in two families are touched by cancer in their lifetime and Cure Cancer Australia is determined to improve prevention, detection and treatment outcomes to reduce the suffering caused by cancer.
In 2012, Cure Cancer Australia will provide 30 one year grants of $100,000 each to the best young researchers in our country with fresh approaches across all areas of cancer research.
$50 funds one hour, $1,900 funds one week, $7,500 funds one month and $100,000 funds one year of vital cancer research.
