Story
Chris & Sureka Goringe will eat on $2/day for five days. (19-23 May 2014).
$2/day is about equivalent to extreme poverty as experienced by many people in the world.
By doing this we hope to understand a bit more about extreme poverty ourselves, and help raise funds to fight poverty overseas.
We are raising funds for Uniting World Relief & Development. UnitingWorld works in partnership with communities in the Pacific, Asia and Africa to help overcome poverty and fight injustice. We are doing this as part of an initiative by The Growing Place community at St John's Uniting Church, Wahroonga. There are other members of the Growing Place also taking up this challenge.
Any donations you make to us will be processed securely and deposited directly to Uniting World Relief & Development.
