Story
Hi there
We are trying to make a difference and help Australia become a healthier country, by raising funds for the Heart Foundation by parcipating in a 24 hour endurance race on the 6th June 2015.
This will be one of the toughest, most gruelling events that we have ever participated and it only seems right that we should do it for a cause to make the country we love so much a healthier place.
Since moving to Australia in 2006, we have found that we have become even more active and healthy. The support and encouragement that we have received on our journey to become a healthier us, has been great.
Your support and donations will keep us going through the night and into the following day, as test our own abilities, mind and put our bodies through the ultimate challenge.
You can follow us on our journey, send us a message of encouragement on Facebook, Twitter or on our website.
See what we are up against here, and think of us while you are tucked up in bed here in Australia or the UK, because whatever time of day it is, wherever you are, we will still be going.
Heart Foundation
The Heart Foundation is Australia's leading heart health charity and is the largest non-government funder of lifesaving heart research in the country. We work to improve heart disease prevention and care for all Australians. Heart disease is the single biggest killer of men, women and children and the Heart Foundation relies on the generosity of everyday Australians to be able to continue its important work. We aim to improve the heart health of all Australians and to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular disease through comprehensive research, education, awareness and support programs.
